Tutoring Rates and Policies

$50 per hour for each one-hour tutoring session. I only bill at the end of each month; I do not require payment after each tutoring session: payments are due upon receipt of every monthly invoice.

Standard tutoring sessions are one hour long. Extended tutoring sessions are available upon request.

The hourly rate you pay is "locked in" at the time of our first tutoring session. There are never any rate increases for continuing students.

All tutoring is conducted individually between the student and the instructor and distractions are kept to a minimum; therefore, I respectfully ask parents or guardians not sit in on every tutoring session. I do encourage frequent monitoring of the student's session as well as his or her homework assignments.

There are no contracts, and clients have the option to suspend or cancel tutoring sessions at any time.

I only accept students who plan to meet on a weekly basis, once a week. While both emergencies and events might interfere with planned meetings, I encourage students and parents to reschedule and make up missed meetings whenever possible.

I will continually evaluate and supply necessary learning materials (workbooks, handouts, study guides, etc.) on an ongoing basis. There are no additional charges for any learning materials.
Meeting Cancellation Policy
I always confirm our meetings by text 24 hours in advance. While emergencies do occur, please understand that I have reserved that scheduled meeting time for you, and I must charge the meeting fee for last minute day-of-meeting cancellations.
